yea he really is that strong and if itachi wasnt an edo he wouldnt of been able to kill him that easily. for sure its becuase itachi is a edo that he can afford to trade blows. but kabuto is very strong none the less. put it this way he is stronger than orochimaru. and orochimaru was one strong mother ****er

Yes Kabuto is strong. He can control an army of powerful Edo, and he's the only known snake/dragon sage. No Itachi would not die if he were alive. He's smart, and knows that he's immortal now and is using that to advantage ex: using susanoo to protect Sasuke and not himself. Though idk why they both didn't just use Susanoo at the same time. It made no sense why Itachi used a susanoo arm to just protect Sasuke when he could have went full susanoo and still protected Sasuke w/ his arm. :shrug:

While yes Kabuto has obtained the powers of Sage mode (and has forever ruined dragons for me >_>; ) and can liquify his body. there are only so many blows he can take. Also keep in mind the fact that Itachi is for the most part busy protecting Sasuke and trying NOT to kill kabuto. his goal is to hit him with Tsukuyomi and end the edo tensei. While yes Itachi was impaled, he wouldn't have been impaled if it were a real battle that wasn't in a cave. on equal ground where itachi wouldn't be effected by his illness. he would still suffer from bleeding eyes periodically. the edo tensei lends some added perks to itachi and his crappy health. BUT we should also keep in mind that he's trying to protect sasuke as well as not kill kabuto. honestly it would make a very interesting fight, seeing as kabuto has a decent genjutsu counter. but we also have to keep in mind of itachi's amazing strategic abilities as well as his yata mirror and sword of totsuka which his susanoo has. and would end up killing kabuto. regardless of how "powerful" or "invincible" kabuto sees himself as the simple fact is. even without edo tensei it takes 1 good sword of totsuka stab and it's over (and that blade is pretty dang HUGE)

Yes, but only because of Sasuke. If he didn't have to protect Sasuke with his Susanno then he wouldn't have had his hands full

It's also important to realize that Itachi's goal isn't to kill Kabuto. It's far easier to kill an opponent than it is to take them alive.

If Itachi had enough time to activate Susano and dodge Kirin, he definitelly could dodge Kabuto's attack if he wanted... On the other hand, he does not have endless chakra, so activating susano to guard himself, wile he is immortal, would just be a waist of chakra... U_U Obviusly activating only one hand costs him much less chakra U_U
