I would love a new DBZ series

The first one was ok. The last one was epic. Because unlike most dbz battles I could actually see everything instead of just 2 guys going berserk. And they had camera angles too. I disliked the fight scene where bills took on the other fighters though. Everyone seemed so weak.

The fight was good till he turned into Super Sayain. The camera angles were going all over the place when that happen. I could not really follow the fight after wards.

As far as improving as a fighter goes. It would be nice if they implemented a Super Sayain 4 style of transformation. I was not really happy with the Super Sayain god form. It looked like they ran out of ideas, so they sticked with the base mode look. Also probably adding some sort of element into the iconic kamehameha. Instead of it going either bigger or smaller, it should have some change in color, that gives it an extra effect.

Agreed. One piece is a great example for one.. and in the end, most of the times the recycled ideas don't usually work out.

One of the biggest issues I have with DBZ is that the Super Sayain forms make the fighters have a very similar effect on the user. Like for example the two main things you will notice are the change in hair color to blond and change in eye colors to greenish blue. Which in the end makes every Super Sayain have a very similar look. The only difference will be the enhanced form of the fighters base mode attacks.

Today's shows have improved on this aspect. To make the other fighters in there shows very unique and different. Like take Fairy Tail for example, they have people who are called Dragon Slayers. They are basically like Sayains of Fairy Tail. They may be called Dragon Slayers but they are not all the same. They have difference in elements and abilities. That make them more memorable and different to me.

why not? goku wants to be the strongest person in the universe? why not in the entire omniverse? hes probably going to need dragon balls to wish him immortal if he wants to always stay in his form and not get old. but it definitely possible.

Yeah but to what extant do you want him to be powerful? Isn't there a time where you just feel that this is the strongest he can be? Let’s say if you were given the job, what you would do to make Goku more powerful? A newer form maybe?

like i said if they continue dragon ball i hope its akira toriyama that does it, because without him the series would become piece of shit just like GT. shitty villians, shitty battles, shitty music, inconsistencies.

Even if they have him involved it won't instantly make the series any better. He always had a flaw as a writer. So I feel he would need someone to help him out with that if he was to be involved.

same goes to dragon ball heroes, it pisses me how they just milk and use the same re-recycled characters, same villians coming back to life and other crap, when akira got his hands on the dragon ball the series became like 1000000 more interesting that any person ever could create.

Now I never really played this dragon ball hero’s game. I did like the concept of a created hero going off helping Goku. Maybe that’s what they need? A new character who could develop a dream to be as legendary as Goku.

same goes to steve jobs when he came back to work for apple, look at the ipad tablet he invented that every copycat industry is selling for like 99 bucks, look at the iphone 4 design he created, now that hes dead, apple just lost their inovation. and every year is just another ripoff of another iphone either from original iphone 4 design or from ipod touch 4g. with faster speeds that most people dont even notice unless their iphone is like from 2008 or something

Like for example when a cell phone was made, it was a huge phone. As time went on technology changed it to make it smaller. Now everyone nearly has one with different brands, which use the same concept but different features to make it more unique. That’s how the Anime world is now. Now tell me can that big old phone work in this day and age?

you dont get my point buddy, you cant compare old stuff to current staff, you have to compare to what it was back for its time.
2008 iphone would get destroyed in terms of perfomance in 2014 phones like samsung galaxy s5
but for its time it was considered powerful. remember after in 2010 when apple introduced iphone 4 which looked like a sandwhich but at the same time had this really interesting premium design and feel to it, it was definetly the powerful phone in the world at that time and it had features that literaly no phone could compare to.
also in 2010 ipad was introduced as big ipod touch with an almost computer sized monitor. nobody back then even though of such bussiness and would people even want to have that, and now? hell you can even buy an android powered tablet in your local grocery store for like 80 bucks lol.

same with dbz. the story and the whole fighting aspect of it was far beyond any anime at that time that could compare too. but the most saddest thing is... IT STILL F*CKING SHITS ON ANY ANIME TO THIS F*CKING DAY!!!!

i mean animes/cartoons are so shitty these days. I swear this generation is so f*cked, cartoon network's new shows are made for kids with ADHD or aspergers. It's so ridiculous, at least they're bringing back DBZ KAI uncut on toonami this fall.

Dude, try some other Anime's, i'd say you try out Gurren lagann, it's a great anime and it has a plot which craps on DBZ (even strength wise ). Now i don't mean to say that DBZ sucks but rather am just trying to make a point here that DBZ isn't the greatest anime with the greatest plot. One reason we all love it is because it's a part of our childhood, a time where we enjoyed heroic entrances and fights more than the actual plot.

I could list dozens of names of animes which include a better plot than DBZ. Just to make it clear, i also love DBZ but i wont go and try to deny an actual fact and be biased about it.
