Yeah but Gaara is smarter than and his sand is the ultimate defense. That's why he is kage. Plus he was stronger than Naruto in the beginning of the series, before Naruto did all that trainning and learning justu's. Naruto needs to be a little more smater and experienced a little more to be Hokage.

Was Gaara stronger than Naruto in the beginning? Did Naruto not defeat Gaara before Gaara become kazekage?
