Technically Naruto did fail, seeing as he's dead.

The point of the story is that you can't achieve your dreams alone.

dude , naruto did hardwork for all of these objectives and it is not suprising that naruto at the age of 17 achieves his all objectives.

And the Hidden Rain is his responsibility as Konan and Nagato the leaders of that village appointed him the task.

And if he becomes the Hokage then the Hyuuga clan is his responsibility as are all the clans of the village.

What are you talking about?

Naruto's character has been shit on for almost the entire Shippuden series.

He is the main character and hasn't been shown to be able to handle any of his problems alone.

When is the last time he has defeated anyone without any help? Gaara?

He has been getting his ass handed to him by Obito and Madara.

Minato has Perfect Sage mode which makes Naruto look worse.

Naruto needs something good to happen for him for a change.

He needs to prove that he can handle things on his own and defeat Madara alone.

I don't mean now currently but it's pretty obvious that he will achieve these things by the end of the series.
