I Wish Naruto was Born Unlucky

Kishi has thrown hard work out the window. It's all about Genetic lineage and power now after seeing spoiler 673, it reminded of myself why I disliked Naruto so much given all the requirements to be GREAT .... .

I hate the concept of destiny in a series when used like this, it takes away from the characters free will, which in turn takes away from the character

It's a damn shame that a once awesome inspiring main character completely went down to the drain especially this War Arc butchered this character it's not even funny.

I wish Kishi made Naruto like Sakura: a nobody from a no name clan who grew to greatness.

Look at all the other top teir shonen manga/ they follow the same archetype.

Ichigo- is shinigami/hollow/bount/Quincy all combined

Luffy- son of Dragon- has the will of D

The only big exception is goku- since he was born with a power level of 5.

The will of D doesnt mean much. I mean, luffy trained his df powers and shit, turned a useless df into one of the most powerful.

naruto didn't inherit from his parents do you read the manga ?

That's not the point of this thread it's all about his main theme concept about hardworking but because he relied on Ninetails too much and because he was prophyzied since he was born and inheirt his go lucky parents, he was always predestineid to do it

I did read it, and you only got mad when Naruto showed up and started dealing with Madara, you were jumping for joy when Might Gai was wiping the floor with Madara.

I would definitely say he worked hard for his powers Only throughout Part 1 that is. The only thing in Shippuden that I've seen Naruto bust his ass off for nearly as much as he did back in part 1 was the Rasenshuriken. In my opinion Kishimoto-san changed his ideals towards the series after the time skip.

The problem is the concept of "Destiny;" "Destiny" can be portrayed as like a "Force," this "Force" acts and plays in a way that triggers a series of events that will lead to a predetermined destination in this case since Naruto is the Child of Prophecy many can make the argument that his "Destiny" was to be hated so that he could understand pain, someone (Iruka) would be the one to set him on the path of good, he would slowly, but much faster than anyone unprecedented (You can call this Main character growth) then add in what missions he went on, the life and death moments, the people he has met, the people he has battled and the things he has said, since there is a being who can tell prophecies and foresee futures that means that everything Naruto has done has been guided by the invisible hand of destiny
