Shown the origins of Hashirama's strength. When does he get Mokuton? Besides their DNA, how exactly did the Senju surpass the Uchiha when we know only of Hashi's (and somewhat Tobirama's) techs and no one elses?

For me it was like Hashi just became the God of Shinobi without an explanation. Are he and Madara the first to fully inherit the powers of the Sage's sons?

hashirama inherited the psychical energy of the sage which is what makes up yang chakra and yang chakra is what makes up creation.

Yeah while it's easy to reason given what we know, it would have been nice to see Hashi use the tech for the first time or something and comment on it.

Mokuton seems like a rare Kekkai Genkai so it should have been a big deal when Hashi unlocked it.
