Every single night I wish the horizon,
cast a light to where I’ll subside in
I wish to sever my ties with Poseidon
so that he may end the life I abide in.

I wish..

I wish for a ship of steam, dropped so it boils on my armored skin
I wish for harmful entities, to rip right through my spine and my fins

I wish..

I wish for a ghoulish mob of sharks, embarked to submerge my symphony,
I wish for a swordfish to stab my heart and the scars converge in infamy.
*pause*
But then I realized, that if I was given all the wishes I said
I would just be back where I began, slumbering with the fishes again.

...

1 year later... This life is bliss
My only wish..for me to see the light with no angler fish
There's no need for the truth to hide, it's all in the changing tides
So now Take your hand and wave goodbye, and elevate to greater heights


And...ascend above and beyond the abyss, to paradise.
