He used a regular summoning technique to summon a giant snake took control of it with his sharingan and then it reversed summoned itself. The same actions might work just dont jump inside the summon should be warped instead of you, unless Obito decides to suck you both into his pocket dimension. When obitos Kamui is activated you have about 3 seconds or less to respond and save your ass.

Yes it would have he almost got sucked in in his battle with Obito. Its a not known if he could have used FTG from the other dimension to return himself. Best guess is 50/50 atm.
