I was surprised to hear Kishimoto getting so much backlash from Naruto being paired with Hinata rather than Sakura. I was under the impression everyone hated Sakura and loved Hinata, or was this backlash mostly from the japanese readers that may like her disproportionately more than western readers?

Actually, while I wouldn't want to kill Kishimoto over it lols, I do agree Sakura felt more fitting and foreshadowed.

Kishi did the right thing Pairing NaruXHina & SasuXSaku Like I said in another thread ppl do not seem to realize kishi can not make everyone happy e.g if say NaruXSaku did happen I would not of cried over spilt milk.
