Well, think of a series first. Is it a Naruto FF, another anime, what would you like to see happen in what? Are you changing past events, predicting future ones, is it a side-story to what's already happening? Just figure out where your FF would fit on the timeline and then pick a character you'd like to focus on (or even create your own). Whatever intrigues you, go for it. That's what an FF is
