I would recommend Steins;Gate, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Hunter x Hunter(2011). All are epic. Steins;Gate is very heavy on story, and has basically zero action, but is just great. FMA has a lot of story as well, and has this noire feeling that I love, but it also has great action. Hunter x Hunter is one of my favorite animes at the moment. It has GREAT action imo, and the story is quite good too, with awesome characters
