I realized a long time ago I'd rather go to hell than heaven. I'm not really into worshiping (this is purely form an Abrahamic god stand point) some dude for the rest of eternity. I disagree with god's morals of sending good people to hell. Like the Dalai Lama. I'm also against having such a radical shift in consciousness. The whole god's glory is so great thing doesn't pull shit for me I would need to bea able to review and critically asses his actions, (which I have done insofar as the bible goes) and then I would make the choice for myself. I think Satan might have been the good guy and realized that god was an arrogant prick. and so he decided to give man consciousness and thought. (like Prometheus) and then got a bad rep for it.

ok, the whole reason why I am agnostic is because I really don't follow what bullshit religion feeds people nowadays.
I've always seen them as political tools to control the masses, ergo it was an ancient political sect, although it was not intended for it.
It has long been manipulated by humankind that only scraps of it remains true.
As for heaven and hell, where did you ever get the idea that God sends good people to Hell?
Nor will going to Heaven be about worshiping God for all eternity?
Hell is a place where you don't ever WANT to be. It isn't just about being burned and such. The image of Hell that most people refer to is from Dante's inferno. It could be anything.
Heaven and Hell is a special place where you go suited just for you. Heaven is where all you WANT and NEED happens and Hell is where things you DON'T WANT and NEED happens.
We could even take a look at other religion for that matter in terms of talking about heaven and hell.
In Norse pagan religion, many considers going to Valhalla as their heaven. If you don't know, it is where they would go to feast then kill each other only to do it the next day.
Some considers that hell.
So if you have a terrible fear of puppies, your hell might involved of getting cuddled by puppies for all eternity, what most would consider heaven.
Or if you are one sick twisted person but somehow you got into heaven, maybe being whipped and chained is your heaven.
Also there is no good or bad in the actions of the higher powers.
Think about it. Humankind think they are above all and their actions have no consequences and should karma bite us, we often see ourselves victimized.
Take a murderer for example, should that murderer be judged and punished, would you think that that punishment is fair?
Most cases, you'd expect them to lash out and such.
Plus it is all BS. They say there is only one God but then WTF is the Devil?
Why does God have a Satan, a rival, an adversary? It doesn't make sense.
This is why I see religion as it is, just a tool to control the stupid because if there is one God, there would be no counterpart.
Also why do we see this divine being to just serve us? To be judged by us, whether the action was a benevolent one or malevolent.
Who said that our judgement is better than God's.
God does not serve us. We are one of the creations, we are nothing. So how the heck do people think that God exists to serve us? Should God not comply to our whims and wishes, then God is cruel and malevolent. If God is then, God is The Devil.
But what does The Devil really do?
The Devil punishes the wicked, the sinners. The Devil tests humankind on whether or not they would submit to their destructive whims and wishes. The Devil is that of a teacher that would tests us and teaches us lessons should one become selfish.
The Devil is not evil incarnate nor is God good.
We base these things off of our own ego.
Humans are monsters that would even go on and defile the image of God for the sake of wanting to be right. That the actions made by God against humankind is wrong and The Devil evil because they are punished for doing something bad.
People are weird monsters.
