I want to draw my own manga, any ideas?

I mean draw it like DBZ or something like that would be pretty easy cuz plot works simple - heroes saving the earth, but i want something new, any ideas?

First read a few Mangas to know the Plot lines and Characters. If you read enough Mangas, you will find some plot elements cliche and some original. Make a list of the Plotlines that you like the most and try to make a story out of it.

Tips :-

1) Avoid Repetition and plotholes. You can also try to make your story Unpredictable.

2) Do not make many characters. Instead focus on a few characters. In this case, your Characters should be attractive, have good, serious or goofy personalities and be unique. Otherwise the readers will become bored.

A very good Plotline-

Main Character- Mysterious Person- Does actions which are morally wrong to the reader- Antagonists try to stop him
(Morally Correct).

The above type of plot line has been used in mangas like Jackals and a few more. These Plot lines makes the reader cringe at the Protagonist's actions which is rarely found in mangas or comics in my Opinion.

The above actually employs a Neutral perspective on the characters and encourages the readers to choose their side based on their opinion. (Main Character or Side Character). You don't have to always choose the Protagonist's side as the actions of the other characters are morally right. This also allows readers to connect with characters and enjoy the Story.

people usually like to draw based on stuff they like in real life. you have a signature of a car, why not something involving cars? a street racing fighting manga xd

Race car manga sounds horrible. Or maybe it's just cuz I'm not into sports genre

This. And personally, I'd skip making my own manga but simply try to get better at drawing detailed and precise.

A few of my fave manga are: Kingdom, Vinland Saga, Claymore, Berserk, AoT, Green Blood.

I know of good manga where the the story and art were made by different people. Don't be too disheartened when people say the story should come from you. If you really want to focus on making good art for other people's bright ideas, I think it's admirable.

I'm listening to classical now and I just had the idea where the protagonist can save people using instruments from heaven or the demon world. Or is there a manga about this already.. I don't know=D

don't let them get to you, with every creative work there will be people that try to discourage you. if you keep at it and work hard, sometime in the future you will see forum posts of people saying how much better their ideas for your manga is. ironic isn't it? when you want inspiration people tell you to think for yourself but when you get a cool idea people tell you to ditch it for their idea.

i'm sure when kishimoto started people said that 12yo fighting ninjas is a terrible and boring idea and today people are arguing on which jutsu is the strongest
