It's not popular enough in Japan anymore. The series' domestic fanbase decreased over time and eventually, the studios had to cancel the series because of it. For the anime to get a jump-start again, the Bleach fanbase in Japan would have to get as big as it was near it's peak, then the studios will listen......that's what I've seen.

I think it will come back when the manga is over, if they bring it back now they will catch up in no time because of kubo's horrible pacing so they will have to do fillers so my guess is that it will come back when the manga is over so that they don't have to do fillers.

if this last arc continues to do well it might get a OVA series done sorta like hellsing ultimate thats the most likely but i doubt it'll be back to a weekly show, although they're still dubbing the last of the episodes so it might still have some hope left.

Pretty much this^ I don't think that the popularity of bleach will keep it from coming back. It will get views and make money. Even if its popularity isn't near what it once was, it is still a very popular manga. Also a lot of the popularity dropped due to the constant fillers so when the arc is finished they won't need to do fillers. At the rate they were using chapters, if they started making them now, they would catch up in about 35 weeks or less.
