I understand Boruto

Today's episode got me thinking, when Boruto basically told Naruto that him cheating in the Chuunin Exams was Naruto's fault.

I do not condone Boruto's behavior in any way, shape or form. However, Boruto does make a valid point. Regardless if Boruto was right or wrong in this situation, Naruto was still indirectly at fault. This whole thing branched out from Naruto's lack of attention to his family. Naruto just hasn't given his family enough attention, and for that I feel bad for Boruto. Naruto is rarely there for Boruto. I mean, how hard is it to designate one evening for family time? Surely Shikamaru can take over for Naruto in the office for one evening a week, and even Shikamaru would be fully willing to do so. I think even Shikamaru mentioned once that Naruto hasn't been giving his family enough attention, Iruka told Naruto that in the movie. If Naruto gave his family enough attention, Boruto never would have gone this far.

And i'll say it again: Although I agree with Boruto that it is indeed Naruto's fault this happened, I do not support his cheating.

With that being said, now I wonder. What in the world could Naruto possibly be so busy with. So busy that he has used up the thousands of clones he's capable of using to the point of exhaustion (even if its only hundreds now for whatever reason) that he couldn't leave one clone at home. Tsunade and Kakashi definitely cannot produce and use nearly as many clones as Naruto is shown using so what could possibly have happened to make him literally 100's of times more busy than they were?? Technological advances would NOT make him work 100's times more, if anything it should lessen his workload. All the other Hokages had so much bigger tasks, like FIGHTING THE AKATSUKI or COORDINATING A GREAT NINJA WAR. And they still had time to do normal stuff. I feel like the producers artificially created this problem in order for Boruto to have a reason to act like this, but it's not very believable.

Menma is terrific as interesting. Having him to take the lead in some episodes wouldn't be a bad idea. Just as I think it wouldn't be a bad idea: Indra, the Founders and Young Adult Sasuke & Naruto.

Peace came with a price, Boruto is just spoiled and doesn't know what it really means to be a ninja. Naruto has ninjas on missions everywhere to secure peace and they barely get to see their families too.

Honestly, as much as I get irked at Boruto's attitude because it's the opposite of what we had in Naruto where there was no cheating in a time like this...So it's taken a full year to understand and accept it. He is very relatable to the new generation of viewers. His reality is that of many kids. Parents (namely the father still) are gone most of the time working so the children can have a somewhat decent childhood and start to their future. His frustrations of not seeing his father are well founded.. and he knows the only way to gain more attention from him is if he excels or acts out. Instead of acting out like he had been, he chose to excel.. but also take the easy route in doing so. I get it now and I know it's going to shape his story in some way as well.

One who actually understands instead of people mainstreaming saying “Boruto sucks and is a brat” they really are ignorant people; I knew they were setting his character up from the very beginning and change him into something more different. That’s why he pretty is my favorite character on the new gen right next to Mitsuki, but hey people have their opinions but the facts are straight as a compass drawing a circle that Boruto’s character will become dynamic.

Lol how isnt it bourtos fault. Hes a brat who had everything a protagonist would want to be born in the most peaceful era where all the nations can come to watch the chunin exam(dont get me started with the the mist nation turning into disney world sell outs). Hes got friemds he gets to save the day with. Treated like a royal in the villiage(i mean city). Dude has it all friends, family but he doesnt have sarada and his dad( Both probably Asura recarnations )recognition . The only two who arnt lick the heel of this spoiler brat brouto(mituksi one of those sheeps ) .

BUT the recent episode real shows the opposite reaction of the fans than when naruto deafeated neji. For once bourto was getting hated on and that really good for his charater cuz bourto was to soft. Bourto is being what kakashi feared a boy playing ninja,bourto is to entitled. The anime bourto arcs never really ended in a way were bourto experiamce or learns something new . I see why they pick this apart of the story to do the movie cuz this is when bourto has to chose the dark side or the jedi side or atleast the start of the story.

Naruto isn’t at fault because he thought Sasuke was adequately monitoring him, despite him being busy too. It’s more Sasuke’s fault than Naruto’s imo.

No. Boruto blaming Naruto for his own action just showed what a spoiled brat he actually is. He said so himself during his final clash against Shinki, he needs "instant power". Sasuke offered to train him weeks before the CE started and he literally refused to learn anything from Sasuke. He didn't want to train for the power he seeked he used a shortcut.

Don't blame Boruto's lazy ass on Naruto.

I mean if Gaara had time to mentor and be a father figure to Shinki.

Naruto should have had some time to train his child. The kid is a fucking genius, was it that hard to teach him a proper rasengan? Send him off to his grandfather's house and teach him taijutsu. Have Konohamaru REALLY train Boruto like naruto trained Konohamaru?

Shouldnt be having kids if you're not going to be involved.

This is wrong Boruto was angry because he wanted more of Daddy's attention. He didn't do it for family initally Himawari was just an excuse to cover up for his own brattiness. His dad did gave him time and did use a Shadow Clone to do so but that wasn't enough for him. Anyway Naruto giving them time was implied when Naruto took him and Hima to the Hyuga compound instead of Hinata.

Naruto even uses a Shadow Clone to play tag and sort of train Boruto via a game. He's killing two birds with one stone but brat boy doesn't give two shits.

This episode showed he was clearly doing it because he was power hungry and wanted more attention. To him power meant everybody would sing his praises including his dad instead of him be patient and gain it over time he looked for a quick fix.

I for one don't see how any of this is Naruto's fault bar him not using a condom.

He is the type of person who grew up by working these all by himself. he didn't ask for help. he tried to become better all by himself. because of this he thinks boruto doesnt need him. he believes he can do things like he did when he was a child.

Boruto lacks the will of fire and a rival who will make him try to become better. I think he found that a little bit with sasuke. I am sure boruto will develop a lot more when he finally understands that he doesn't need to be taken care of like a baby that he too can do things himself like his father naruto did in the past.
