I underestimated Luffy

I made a grave mistake many years ago by not watching this show...it never appealed to me but today i decided to start at episode 1 and omg one piece is so awesome it may be better than naruto j/k but seriously i apologize for any negative comments i made about this show

I did the same thing, I just finished all One Piece anime and it is better than Naruto U_U

Naruto will always have my first anime heart but One Piece is very heart wrenching and the moments of Awesomeness are just too great and on an epic scale. So One Piece, hats off to you guys.

indeed, it was hard for me in the beginning to watch it but once you've passed the first few episodes you'll get addicted to it

Ever since Nami asked Luffy for help and Luffy put his hat on her head, yelled "Damn right!" and kicked Arlong's ass, I got hooked on the show. OP is the best and Zoro is the most awesome character of all time and I don't have a favourite character easily. Nor in Naruto nor in Bleach I have a favourite character. Of course there are characters who I find cool, but none of them has "it".

It happened to me too. I started out with the English Dubbed (big mistake) and that kind of put me off, but then I decided to give the manga a try (someone on here suggested it, but for the life of me I can't remember who). Anyways, long story short, I'm now completely hooked. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

True, It was intersting at the arlong part for me too, but after it stoped aring on toonami along with the other anime's I stopped watching. And the magnitute of Manga chapters turned me off from reading until i eventually , just sat down and began reading from where i left off.

It is very very good Manga.

Still not better than naruto IMO But it's definitely sitting in a seat beside it as Top Manga's with bleach coming third if not tied, with it.

I completely love this, the anime, the manga, everything! It's my favourite series and it will always be, it's such a pity it isn't so popular in the west as it is in Japan (Damn you 4Kids!! I shall get you back... somehow...)

I remeber when i was little one piece would come on in the cartoon channels so know its been 7 years so i thought that anything that was on a kids channal would suck but when starting to watch in in subs with cuss words and blood i was like ( hells ya bitch this is awsome ) and watch all 5 hundred something and then went on to the Manga... Not going to say better then Naruto but Just ass dame good

about naruto or one piece, which is better, i am the one who underestimated naruto and thought it was boring...but when i watched it i saw it was really cool, BUT STILL! not as good as one piece for many reason, naruto is just...i wanna save sasuke,sakura crying about sasuke,sasuke revenge, and also all about making sasuke the strongest of all, when one piece has so many things that you are wandering about ...it has so many things that you haven't learned in 517 episodes ,with few fillers and you never get bored of the story cause it's never repeating, there are ALWAYS new things that you learn, in naruto you are sure that sasuke will be saved by naruto and naruto will be hokage, but in one piece except the fact that luffy will be Pirate King, you are not sure for anything else

what makes OP great IMO is that their is so much depth to it, you want to find out about Gol D. Rogers treasure, you want to find out if Luffy becomes king, you want to find out what the whole lost history is about, you want to find out about what the significance of the middle initial D. has to do with everything, etc...
With Naruto, i only want to find out if Naruto becomes Hokage or if he dies while fighting Sasuke, at this point thats all it has boiled down to
