Right, this post is going to outline, in detail, why I believe that Tobi is likely the Elder son of Rikudo Sennin. It's quite long, so prepare yourselves.

Because Kishi showed Tobi to be old. Obito is not old and there is no way he could have realistically came back from near death and a few years later take on Minato and control Kurama. You should need experience/natural talent with the sharingan for that.

It makes no sense and it's too obvious and cliche.

I always looked at it like this, Obito is a side character from a side story, he is not important enough to be Tobi.

I'd be mad if he is Obito because Tobi is old as F*CK in the face, please explain how he aged 2wice as fast as Kakashi.

If you were smart you have seen i posted a new link a few posts back which is the same interview since that interview is already confirmed to be true, and tell me how will Tobi be Obito, how will Obito know Tobi, you deny evidence i've given you, but don't provide any of your own.

A good chunk of Tobito theorists WANT Tobi to be Obito, regardless of what Kishi has already established about him.

Confirmed by Kishi: Madara knew Tobi. We suspected it way earlier than that, but it's been set in stone. It's not 100% certain, but it's very likely Tobi was the one who gave Madara's eyes to Nagato. It's a fact Tobi is old and that he knew Madara. Thus, it can't be Obito.
