I thought Tobi had one rinnengan and obe sharingan.

On the last page of the manga you see that both his eyes are drawn w Rinnengan. Or am I missing something?

the sharingan was a contact lense.... so he took it out and he had Rinnegan all the time

What are you looking at? One eye is sharingan and the other is rinnegan.

The eye in the top left pannel is rinnegan while the eye in the bottom pannel is sharingan.
