Danzo is obviously using his sharingan to manipulate the people here into making him hokage.

One problem though.

Why has he decided to use this tactic now when he has seemingly had the sharingan for years??

Isnt it funny how now everythings started he suddenly acts in a "pre planned" way.

He's got something big planned...More big than simply becoming hokage because he couldve used that sharingan to manipulate them people ages ago.

Something thats happened has triggered the need for him to become hokage, the question is what.

that ability couldn't be easy to obtain, so maybe he had to tap into its power but when he did tsunade was already hokage so he had to wait it out

my real question about that is why he can use his Sharingan behind the tape or whatever that is blocking his eye. Isn't the whole reason Kakashi hides his Sharingan so he isn't using it and wasting chakra

I read this twice, and I don't see any evidence for his Sharingan being used. He's just getting up there and intimidating the feudal lord like any fanatic can without a Sharingan. If we don't see the Sharingan, how is it obvious he's using it?

Further, why would he have to expose it later on to fight the ninja that ambush him.

Finally, as someone mentioned, Kakashi keeps his covered due to chakra drain because he can't turn his off. Further, Kakashi has never used it behind his headband. Why is Danzou able to both use it behind cover and not have chakra depletion problems?

These are questions that I feel must be resolved before I find it obvious or agree. Nonetheless it is an interesting take.

mabey the reason hes not waisting chakra is cause he took the guys arm to making another source or chakra one the eye is used to Ao said it himself he recognized shinue or wat ever his names chakra mabey by danzo taking his arm he saved himself from loosing alot of chakra by using it..

OK, that's possible since it's unprecedented. Though he may just have taken the arm at the same time for replacement, and it provides no chakra benefit.

How is he using the Sharingan while it's covered in bandages though? I don't see evidence that he is. That's what I really need to see.

Its not the first time we have seen a contradiction.

The reason i suspect its sharingan is because danzos excuse was pathetically weak, he just ranted his ideals and the feudal lord agreed?

Surely if the feudal lord agrees with danzos opinion he is of the SAME opinion as danzo, in which case why didnt he nominate danzo in the first place when the 3rd died and they searched for the sannin!

why not choose danzo then??

I'm not leafeater but I will answer this. It is because they agreed with the third's principles before because they seemed to work even though danzo was on the side saying they were endangering the village.
but when Danzo pointed out it was the thirds teachings that created pain and the fact that the village was destroyed(which he said was because his teachings weren't followed) the feudal lord appointed him because he believes it will help protect the village and he sees the (fake but what danzo pointed out) problems with the third's theories. So I don't believe that he was using the sharingan on them.

Also of course we know danzo was using his sharingan at the meeting I just want to know why he can

We don't know when Danzou got his sharigan eyes. Danzou has had those bandages for a very long time. It could well be as simple as Danzou's time to shine in the plot so it seems to be pre-planned. Though I've never understood why Danzou never became Hokage after the 3rd died? He didn't seem to put his hand up immediately though the Kishi may not have created his character then.
