I am not making fun,but just ask where is the point, that Sasuke try to train him? He cannot use lighting. Kohnohamaru taught him the rasengan, if I am not wrong? So what the hell could Sasuke teach him, he has no lighting release no dojutsu. So it would make more sense when his father train him sage mode and transfer him biju power.

They said in the novel that it may be because of habit or because of something inherited from his parents, but the vanishing rasengan is something unique only to Boruto.

It being a habit seems to relate to gentle fist as well
