[Discussion] I think that edo tensei should have had a different effect after being stopped.

I think that to have made the plot more interesting, when the edo tensei was stopped, it should have turned everyone who was affected by it into mortals, so that they would still be able to fight but by own free will, and could actually die if they were stabbed in a vital organ and die or were to have been killed during a fight. It would have been entertaining to see battles that could be more intense since their lives were really at stake or even see itachi continue living after his battle with kabuto and asuma return to kurenai.
