I think Obito should be better at genjustu than Kakashi

He should be able to use Tsukuyomi because it's a right eye technique. Plus Kakashi was badly injured when Itachi used it on him. He shouldn't waste a lot of chakra since he has Senju DNA so Obito could've won the fight.

we've actually seen more out of obito genjutsu than we have sasuke's.

That's not how it works. Don't forget that Shisui had Kotoamatsukami in both eyes, it never stated that simply awakening MS in the right eye will allow you to automatically obtain Tsukuyomi. Uchihas MS techniques can vary, Obito and Shisui are examples of this.

He is a well-skilled genjutsu user though, better than Kakashi is too.

I don't think Obito has Tsukiyomei. He has Kamui, and each MS eye contains one special ability to it

MS techniques are by person, not just by eye. Itachi and Sasuke's eyes were similar because theyre siblings. Obito's eyes were the offensive and defensive versions of Kamui. Shisui has KA in both his eyes. Just having a right eye doesnt mean you get Tsukuyomi. Otherwise, he probably would have been using it a lot more.

actually it was kakashi telling obito they should stop using genjutsu, because they had a war to fight and had to get down to it. so obito ended it and fought him physically.
