I think konan is highly underrated

She had months of prep and that jutsu was specifically designed for Obito, Minato can react faster than all those bombs can explode, his hiraishin is instant and he has great reaction speeds.

Hiraishin>Kamui in terms of speed.

That jutsu was just designed to outlast the duration of his Kamui.

Minato met tobi for the first time, and beat him yet Konan knew obito when he was a teenager and still could not beat him, she had the time to ready herself and failed get over it.

Konan is in my opinion a low-s rank ninja, bordering on high s-rank.

But no prep time:

Orochimaru, Itachi, Sasuke, Kabutomaru, Obito (any form), Nagato, and Sasori kills her low diff; Kakuzu, Kisame kills her mid diff; and Deidara kills her extreme diff (could go either way).

She beats Hidan, any of team taka, Zetsu, and Yahiko tho....and most every other ninja out there.

Konan's only prominent feature were big breasts....that were cut in the production stage, so she's a lot like Fith Misukage, in a sense that, she essentially has only one real jutsu and nothing else.

She is underrated but you forget she had prep time when fighting Obito. Minato didn't. His whole strategy works around creating these "preparations" (meaning leaving his seals around) during battle most of the time and then using them, which requires a lot more skill. Saying Konan > Minato is totally unrealistic. However, I'll give you she's probably up there as one of the stronger Kunoichi.

People keep on biting about prep time but it was her standard jutsu that was able to blow off the right side of Obito's body. As for her 600bn paper bomb technique, if you work out how many she's able to prepare in a short amount of time you would find out the number is still ridiculously high.

I can also see her being able to defeat Minato due to a good match up for her, I would expand on this point but not now on my phone.

lol, Konan is horrible in terms of Character traits and personalities, she had zero personal input on absolutely everything during the entire duratiom of the Yahiko-Naruto plotlines. She kinda stood there and....did nothing of importance. Even after Nagato's death she just basically followed his beliefs...and....she has personality of a paper clip.

Thats a matter of opinion. I think Konan was just quiet and we saw her ass a kid and she was a little different and after yahiko died she became rather serious. Though she followed his beliefs whats that have to with anything, i follow my families beliefs does that make dull and lame? And like i said this is a matter of opinon as she could solo you anyday XD

That's an astonishingly brilliant argument, really.
And don't forget, there's personal opinions (i.e. - I like Konan because piercing's cool)
And then there's facts: Konan's character was underdeveloped, had little to no impact on the plot, and the only time she displayed prominent character traits, was in her childhood. (Due to the lack of screen time)
