I think Kishimoto is trying to trick us with Karin and Sarada, vote who is the mother

I'm expecting it to be revealed that Sakura is Sarada's mother and that one of Sakura's family members wore glasses to explain why Sarada is wearing glasses.

I wouldn't mind if Karin is Sarada's mother but I get the feeling this isn't true.

I know Sakura saying she thinks Sasuke didn't wear glasses make it seem like she's lying but this could just be Kishimoto trying to trick us like he did in the past with the Tobi reveal.

If Sarada's mother is Karin that means Sakura agreed to raise a baby that Sasuke had with another women while he travels which would look bad on Sasuke.

People in the village seem to think that Sakura is Sarada's mother from what I could tell from Chouji's daughter saying that Sarada is from the Uchiha's.

If Kishimoto wants he could say Sasuke brought Karin's daughter to Sakura to raise since Karin died and Sakura walked around with a pillow in her shirt to fake being pregnant.

I doubt Karin is dead, these are my thoughts tell me what you think about this.

Sasuke hasn't seen Sakura for around 13 years, yes there's been no development for this pairing (unless you count bad development) not counting poking foreheads. Naruto x Hinata get a movie while Sasuke x Sakura get drama with Karin.

Its good that I'm not bothered about pairings or I'd be annoyed at the way Sasuke x Sakura has been treated by Kishimoto.

But to be serious, the bait is pretty simple. People seem to forget that just "wearing glasses", or rather having bad eyesight, usually has nothing to do with genetics. And aside from the glasses, there is next to no resemblance between Sarada and Karin.

I think it's plausible that Salada is Karens daughter. Although Kishi does love his troll no jutsu.

I would be fine either way. I would prefer KarenxSuigetsu and SasukexSakura to be the true pairing. Salad looks like Karen's daughter but she could easily be Sakura's daughter too. It's such a tease, damn you Kishi!

You know I would like to point out some similar cases in which the obvious scenario was the correct:

Tobi> Obito
Secret evil chakra> Kabuto

In both cases the answers were so obvious that many time went overlooked, I think the same happens here and thus Karin might be after all Sarada's mother.

the answer is simple, all the new children on boruto carry some kind of trait of their parents. sarada carries non of sakura. she looks more like a fusion of sasuke and karin. so i will go with karin being the mother and it will be explained why on the following chapters. it was the same with naruto. he had round face of kushina and hair of minato.

Wiki claims that Sarada" inherited the shape of both her eyes and face" from her mother. To me the shape of Sarada's eyes is more similar to Sakura's then Karin but this doesn't prove who the mother is.

The wiki also says Sarada inherited her hairstyle from her grandmother but it would make more sense to say she has a similar hairstyle. I'd edit this on wiki but they always change things back.
