More specifically hybrid clans like boruto whose uzumaki and hyuga.
Some reasons I think that is the back emblem we see that denotes clan affiliation which see jigen has too which I think is an ancient clan member.

the Jugo/Kawaki thing is interesting I have considered it myself but I don't think his backstory is that deep. I do like that you have ryuchi cave in mind. I think that is going to be an important place for the new team 7. A jugo vs Kawaki fight may reveal some secrets about Amado's research but I don't see him having a clan affiliation. He will probably have Ishiki's dojutsu whether it is a Jagan or not I don't know
