He knew the best he could do was tie with him, hence the "we'll both die" statement. You don't harness all of the world's energy into a bijuu bomb and hurl it at someone you're not trying to kill.

Sasuke siphoned a portion of the bijuu's chakra with his own powers for one attack, that's a little different to them being gifted to you by friendship and having a conscious being inside of you, guiding you tactically, gathering chakra for you, etc.

CM was only his training wheels, as soon as he awoke MS his chakra was superior to what Orochimaru's power-up provides. The only power-up he's using are Itachi's eyes and even then it's so he can use his own MS abilities not someone else's.

Doesnt make a difference. His whole Hebi self was based off Oros power. And his EMS is from Itachi. Not to mention Naruto gave him Kyuubi Cloak to power him up. He got major powerups from other people just like Naruto.

No shade though, they've earned it. Naruto defeated Kyuubi, Pain and fought majority of the war. Sasuke defeated Itachi, Orochimaru, and fought the five kages.

They earned their stripes and I commend them both for being strong through hard work.

- Reread their vote 2 fight. Naruto pretty much only launched counterattacks, while Sasuke was the one to shoot first. This is what Naruto mean't after the Danzo fight, he didn't want to kill him, so it's either both would wind up dead or both would wind up alive. Looks like Naruto won his prediction.
As for Sasuke's version - Either Naruto dies, or they both die, but Naruto dies first. If anything it wasn't killing intent, but rather mercy on that poor Uhciha's soul.
