I think I tripped on a PLOTHOLE this morning!

This is to discuss the Manga and the Anime.
For starters, we'll be discussing the Naraka Path's ability: King of Hell.

The King of Hell has two abilities that were confirmed.

• It's used for for interrogation
  The King of Hell can repair the other Paths, should they be damaged or killed. When it consumed the remains of the Asura Path, the path emerged from the figure fully restored and was even wearing a new Akatsuki robe. While the King of Hell is being used for this, it seems that others are able to see it, unlike when it is being used for interrogation purpose.
• It's capable of discerning whether an individual is lying or not
  When implemented on a target, a serpent-like apparition of their life force energy, in the form of an enlarged tongue emerges from their mouth and is presented to the figure. The King of Hell then proceeds to pass its judgement on the victim. If they are lying (or refuse to answer the question), their life force energy is ripped out by its two hand-shaped tongues and consumed, leading to the victim's death. If the target is telling the truth, it lets go of the protrusion leaving the target alive but extremely exhausted. The King of Hell can only be seen by the ones it's being used upon.

Okay, but I was reading the Manga or watching an episode and I swore I saw something say that you can't see the King of Hell while it's in use. Then one night, I got on Youtube on the X-Box and I was watching Naruto/Killer Bee/Itachi vs. Nagato. They could actually see the King of Hell and Nagato wasn't repairing or even using it. If it was going to be used on Naruto, only Naruto could've seen it at that moment. So how could Itachi see it, or had been able to throw Kunai at it's eyes if you can only see it if you're reviving a path or you are the target?

• I call major BS 'cause I'm just now noticing that Nagato could basically hide the King of Hell in the chameleon's mouth while the chameleon is camouflaged. Then he could just go to it and then heal himself without being seen.

This is my reaction after realizing the Plothole...

I don't think the King of Hell works like that.
You can't see it if you aren't a target, or if it isn't being used as a reviving tool.

Even if he could see the King of Hell's "chakra", how could he have effortlessly shot it's eyes with those Kunai like that? It was directly at it's eyes like he used them as a Rinnegan Dart Board.

invisible doesn't mean you can't sense chakra like muu does with his jutsu normal eyes can't see it but I think any powerful dojutsu can like sharingan so xd

Still doesn't answer how Itachi was able to see it.
I already said something like, "even if it was going to be used on Naruto, how could Itachi see it?"
..and Konan probably was able to see it since it wasn't being used to take someone's soul out.

No. It's not the same as Muu's Jutsu.
It's invisible to all but the user and person using it.
It's not using any camouflage jutsu. I don't think it works like the camouflage Jutsu.
That still doesn't explain how Itachi used the King of Hell's eyes like a Rinnegan Dart Board.

Nagatos power was too hax...On paper naruto should have died when he used human path and lots of other things don't make sense ie revive yahiko easily... Fix his own legs, use chibaku tensei at the start of the fight, visited konoha before naruto could learn sm.. List goes on and makes me sad that he got ended in 2 chaps

Itachi like rikerslade said has a sharingan and can see chakra and had a whole other objective also in mind,he was blocking out nagato's lines of sight.


So to put it bluntly no plot hole

Everyone knew it could seal up souls it was displayed when pain attacked the hidden leaf

Naruto is nothing but a giant glow rod of chakra at that point so all itachi has to do is look at him and if his chakra big batch of yang chakra is being depleted it would be a very obvious sign that he is in danger so you see itachi doesn't have to even has his sharingan on nagato he can focus it on naruto as well
