Guys this is just a theory on how i think the ghost transformation technique works.
Ok so as we know dan kato(tsunades late lover) has been brought back via edo tensei along with other previously dead ninjas, so far we don't know anything about him apart from the fact that he was tsunades lover and a leaf ninja who was killed in the 2nd great ninja war which led to tsunade having a fear of blood in part 1 of naruto.
Furthermore so far we don't know what his abilities are but apparently he was a powerful ninja otherwise kabuto wouldn't have summoned him for the war.Since being summoned he has warned members of the alliance whom he and other edos clashed with in battle to trap him in a barrier for their own safety just in case dan whilst being controlled unwillingly used a dangerous technique called the ghost transformation technique which is why at the moment chouza(chojis dad and former friend of dans) is currently guarding the barrier where dan is trapped.
However at the moment what the ghost transformation technique does and why is it dangerous is a mystery but just in case we don't see the technique in action i have come up with a theory of how i believe it might work why it's a dangerous technique ok here it goes:
I believe that dans ghost transformation technique allows him to change his appearance,form,voice and even characteristics. I also believe that it allows him to aquire the strength and weaknesses and possibly the abilities of WHOM he changes into also i could be wrong but i believe that he'll be able to switch between human and ghost form aswell also if this is true then i guess you could say the ghost transformation technique is similar to white zetsus ability to transform into anyone it touches but in dans case he probably don't need to touch anyone in order to transform into them,he could probably transform into anyone at will and be able to use their abilities including kekei genkai which by the way is something zetsu cannot do and if this is the case that might explain why dan has asked for himself to be trapped in a barrier for everyone's safety.
And finally if my theory about dans transformation technique is true including the aquiring of anybodies jutsu including kekei genkai then imagine if he transformed into hashirama, the reason i say this is because he said it himself that their ain't a single person alive who can beat madara and the only one who could is the deceased hashirama senju madaras rival and even though edo tensei is still active there must be a reason why dan mentioned the ghost transformation technique and why he's one of the few edos that remain, i believe that kishi has something big/important for dan to do in this war and if you ask me i reckon it has something to do with saving tsunade and the kages otherwise what the **** is he still around for and why hasn't he shown how his jutsu works.
