I think I know why Kakashi killed Rin!

So I was playing Naruto Storm 3 and Kushina was saying she was kidnapped by the hidden cloud because she had some kind of power. And don't forget Kushina was a Uzumaki she was a pure Uzumaki and then I realize Rin might be an Uzumaki but then i remembered that her last name was Nohara so I'm like damn!! but don't forget Kishmoto always introduces new Clans thats why I think that Nohara clan was probably a clan related to the Uzumaki or some of the clan members had special powers so maybe the Hidden Mist Ninja were probably trying to do the same thing the cloud were trying and the mission was probably not to let the "Hidden Mist to get their hands on her" and when I say her I mean Rin T_T!! So kakashi knew that he was going to fail so he took it upon himself and killed her to complete the mission but the mist still wanted the corpse!! Thats why Obito stated "YOU LIVED A LIFE OF REGRETS KAKASHI" so Obito probably knew what happened from the start!?

could it not have been zetsu who killed rin? im not caught up quite yet so i dont know if there is any new info on this but couldnt zetsu have completely copied kakashi's chakra and been the one to kill rin? that would make the whole thing a set-up to start obito down his path
