I think I know what Kishi Is setting up for the Sasuke and Naruto fight...

In the past chapters, Sasuke used ms and Naruto used Chakra mode (or, if you prefer, kcm), instead of Bm or Ems.

I think what he is setting up might be this:

Blind Ms Sasuke=Sage mode *five kage summit*
At this point in time, his ms abilities were as high as he needed them, but his eyeloss put him around the level of Naruto's sm.

Ems while only using ms powers Sasuke= Naruto Cm
Naruto in chakra mode seemed a bit weaker than Itachi when he was healthy. So Sasuke, who's ms powers are a little weaker than Itachi's, might make them on par.
Naruto's speed and raw taijutsu could be nullified by susanoo's defense, while Naruto can just dodge amaterasu. Making this a very difficult fight.

Ems (imperfect ps) vs Naruto bm
This is the amaterasu covered susanoo by the way, not the one he used against kabuto. Naruto had a short time limit with this, while Sasuke's Susanoo isn't full power yet.

Basically the same as before, except now Sasuke's got a susanoo sword and Naruto's got tbb. Sasuke could smack tbb away with his sword, and Naruto could just dodge with bm.

Ems (perfect susanoo)=Bm (with yin chakra)
Imagine a susanoo as big as Madara's, with amaterasu covering it. And watch it fight a twice as strong Naruto. Yeah, that could be a good fight.

You have a point but it could be argued that BM Naruto is stronger than current Sasuke. His raw speed and chakra manipulation surpass Sasuke's at the moment.

Sorry but I don't think so.

1. Blind MS Sasuke is not on par with SM Naruto. I don't even quite understand why you would make such a comment. MS Sasuke being on par with SM Naruto is debatable, but you think they are equal when he is blind? Maybe I misunderstood you Idk.

2. BM Naruto (without yin chakra) is stronger than EMS Sasuke. He's too fast for Amaterasu and enough TBBs will probably end up destroying Susanoo. Plus Kurama is there for genjutsu trouble.

Even if Sasuke get's a perfect Susanoo power-up (which I don't really see happening just because Madara has it) Naruto is not only due to get Kurama's yin chakra back but he's also been confirmed to be the next Sage so he'll get a power-up their too. Plus the storyline doesn't support a Sasuke vs Naruto fight anymore. And personally I don't want to see one because Naruto is already too OP as it stands and with his two power-ups he's due fighting Sasuke will be pointless

Naruto right now is far stronger than sasuke... Unless sasuke gets a power up I don't see sasuke keeping up with his raw speed and strength, naruto is a little too overpowered for sasuke currently

bm naruto stomps current sasuke....he can have a sage mode clone and a km clone and bm clones who are nearly unkillable, move fast, and naruto can transform into the fox, or make individual fox parts appear....

ohhh and did i mention that he can be shrouded in (so far) inpenetrable chakra shield?

madara and obito used mega katon jutsus on the alliance, and obito threw tons of shuriken and kunai, yet none of them were harmed

so if mega ordinary fire does nothing to people wearing a weaker chakra cloak, that means amatersu will not work well even if it hits naruto. All it would likely do is backfire, and turn naruto into a flameing ninja, who could make the fire backfire, by trying to attack sasuke while in flames to set him on fire.

Remember sasuke was not even able to hit sm kabuto, and bm naruto is even faster(i know sasuke wasnt going for a vital spot, but dsm kabuto still dodged an attack.

offensive capabilities naruto<sasuke (sasuke barely takes it because he has a wide variety of offensive jutsu, while naruto relies on taijutsu/ bijuu bomb/rasengan varietions and chakra cloak offensives)

intelligence naruto<= sasuke narutos battle intelligence has been shown to be pretty good. he does have some slip ups, but in general has been shown to be vastly improved and on sasukes level. But it is more likely that sasuke is the smarter fighter now.


so far ems has never been shown to be a very big powerup over ms...it mostly doesnt have the drawbacks of ms and it refines ms techniques and enhances them.

ems madara walked up and got fodderized by hashi, hashi didnt have a scratch on him, and looked plenty healthy, while madara was beaten laying on the ground

madara NEEDED kurama just to be on the same level as hashi(or to wear him down to the same level)

there has been no evidence to show ems being an extremely op powerup.

so all this said sasuke will need a new powerup to compete with naruto.

and he will get it.
