Only if Sasuke have the chakra seeing vision activated, they have to actually turn their sight like that to see it. Sasuke can't see what isn't shown chakra wise if he doesn't look for it and his focus is on Naruto, he thinks he's about to win and Naruto is known for being unpredictable towards his opponets.
