I think Guy will die too.. Kishi said the manga is reaching its climax.. We've been hearing about the 8 Gates ever since Rock Lee's preliminary match against Gaara.

There are two 8 Gates users and it makes the most sense to see the 8th Gate mode from Guy and have Rock Lee to grieve and take over his sensei's place. Just like Shikamaru & Asuma, plus Naruto & Jiraiya. Kakashi probably would live, I just don't think Kishi would make Naruto lose two masters.

I have a good feeling Kishi will finally show us the 8th gate when the war is going to be wrapped up. It's been 10+ years in the waiting.

i'd prefer it if lee was the one who used the 8th gate tbh, it would fit into Gai's goals of seeing Lee surpass him more
