After watching the recent manga, I think Sakura is going to become useful in some way. I think she is actually going to fight - for once in the whole intire anime!

Well, actually she did fight Sasori, but I'm considering Chiyo in the mix.

Sakura's always been useful, but now she gets to fight in battle too. I'm guessing the arguments last couple days about "she has a code swearing to never fight as a medic" is gone now.

Hopefully not. I actually want to see Sakura's full potential. She did learn from the all powerful Tsunade. Sakura should have picked up something from her.
