im not bashing sakura but she is fail, kishi try so hard to make her relevant but she still nameless kinouchi with no interesting story, personal background, linage, motive, related plot or significant in Naruto Manga. In that alone however make she is fodder, the manga tells a lot more about Hinata the side character than the main character Sakura. I really think Kishi just dont have a clue to develop sakura to make her relevant in story compare to other two. After the manga end,i personally look her just another parings fodder for Sasuke beside princess uzumaki Karin.

We don't know if the movie is canon or whether or not she keeps the power given to her.

It's already been confirmed to be canon, and there's no reason to assume she'd lose it when it's been said to be her own power, the Hamura chakra, that was dormant within her until Hamura awakened it.

She leads Hyuga in 4th shinobi war and ofks she joining the war defeating Zetsu's fodder and Jubi, side-by-side protecting Neji, help Naruto in morals and together with others to fight Obito, Madara and Juubi.

OT: She is fighter with strong heart and determination however how low you look at her.
