Seriously, every single one has devastating abilities as it is and not to mention their shared vision and reaction times are crazy so they're even hard to hit.

I mean, one can summon giant unkillable summonings, another can make all jutsu redundant and another can repel literally anything & make konoha-sized crater. You have to have the exact right abilities and skills to defeat Pain, which very few people have and something Naruto, the Toads, Konoha, Hinata & The Kyuubi were barely able to do.

I honestly don't think the power levels should've ever gone over Pain level.

Pain was/is one of my favorite characters in all of anime period not just Naruto.
His ideals, abilities, and mystique were just awesome. I knew from the manga he would be bad*** just from his interaction with all the other Akatsuki members.
