[Discussion] I smell something fishy!

There could be some spoilers in here as well so yeah.

I find it interesting that Sasuke's parents are missing during the 'Nine Tails Attack' on the village, because Kushina's good friend is Sasuke's mom. I just kinda feel its a coincidence that the only other person that could know where kushina would be is missing during the attack.

Lemme know what you think, Does Sasuke's mom have anything to do with it or another Uchiha close to her?

well yea they are good friends but how do you know that they are nowhere near the village when the attack happens.
also the uchiha clan village is outside the village itself if I am not mistaken

She didn't know where Kushina would be...kushina didnt tell her OH HEY IM GOING OVER HERE OUT OF THE VILLAGE TO GIVE BIRTH AND BTW THE SEAL IS WEAK WHEN I GIVE BIRTH. All they said was omg does it hurt to give birth.

Good point and sasuke's mom didnt look like an active shinobi and had an infant son to take care of, so I dont think she would have helped them. Anyway the attack happened so quickly and massively that any normal shinobi would have thought twice before getting engaged in that epic battle.

The thirds wife was super paranoid while Kushina was talking with Sasuke's mom, and Kushina looked ready to give birth at anytime. It wasn't the hardest thing to predict, someone obviously found out, just trying to throw some possibilities out there

No, the Uchiha Clan's village was within Konoha

I don't think they knew, only the 3rd and 4th hokage and some other knew.

Well keep in mind people that there was at least a day between when Kushina talked to Sasuke's mom and when she gave birth. Kushina was not having labor pains yet and it would have been a slow journey to the destination considering Kushina walked herself. So I'd assume the time gap was 2 or maybe even 3 days between.

What I'm getting at is that is plenty of time for Sasuke's mom, and all other Uchiha, to evacuate the village before the disaster. I'm under the impression that the Uchiha did know about the eminent attack, but were only told after Kushina left the village. Here is how I think things went down:

Tobi knew the 3rd would take precautions for the birth. So he waited and watched for Kushina to leave the village. He did this either himself, or possibly had Zetsu spores on Kushina, yadda yadda. Then when she left, Tobi told the clan about the attack. Its possible that they did not trust him, but if Tobi did tell them about the attack, the whole clan might have left as a precaution. That is plenty of time for the clan to leave between the time Kushina left and the attack.

As for why Itachi and Sasuke were left home, idk, perhaps they were too young to be told. But since they were too young to fight the Kyuubi and on the outskirts of the village, perhaps their parents felt safe leaving them. Or perhaps Tobi threatened them to not take the kids or something.

Yeah sasukes mom might have known she was giving birth then obviously, but she wouldnt have known WHERE she was giving birth. it was a top secret location after all, only minato and the third and the few people who were there knew where she was. i dont see how sasukes mom would know.
