If the bait is too obvious, don't take it. The final panel of chapter 689 shows how Team 7 works together yet again to corner Kaguya and Black Zetsu. Is this the end of Kaguya? I highly doubt so as she was introduced just a little while ago, that is why I say that I smell an Aizen coming. During the last arc with Aizen in Bleach, the Gotei 13 (The 13 Captains) along with the Vizards fought together using teamwork and cornered Aizen in a attack that would have beaten him. Bleach spoilers ahead! However, Aizen used his perfect hyponsis, his Shikai to make his enemies believe that they had beaten him, but in reality they had attacked their teammate. Now, I am not stating that Kaguya will preform a hyponsis or even make them attack themselves. I am stating that Kaguyam may look beaten, but I highly doubt so for several reasons. Reason 1. Black Zetsu just stated what the black orb that appeared was, it was and is Kaguya's very own "Truth-Seeker Ball" which she can use to create a new dimension of her own liking. There would be no reason to introduce this concept as hers if she was going to lose in the same chapter. Reason 2. She was introduced into the series a few chapters ago, and she is clearly a major if not the final villain. (Kishimoto wouldn't be stupid enough to say that she was the final villain, so he said the Juubi. Kaguya can very well be looked upon as the Juubi itself, as she was when Hagoromo and Hamura fought it.) Reason 3. She doesn't even seem the slightest annoyed, afraid or concerned when they are closing into her. Meaning that she either doesn't care if they seal her, or she has completely given up. The last one isn't all that likely when you look at all she's done to reach this point. |
