^^This. At first, I thought it was just joking, but lately I have seen an increasing number of people actually blaming Sakura, Hinata, Sasuke or Naruto for what the genders of their kids are. People have said stuff like this:
"Sakura was too fodder to pop out a boy. She had to mess that up."
"How could the great Sasuke not have a son?"
Etc...
For starters, even if you could blame anyone for the *** of a baby, it would actually be the father and not the mother. That is because only the father's sperm can contain y-chromosomes to produce the xy combination that is a male. Egg cells have only x- chromosomes. Therefore, if you are mad at Sakura for giving birth to a girl instead of a guy and you absolutely have to blame someone, blame Sasuke for giving out an x-chromosome with his sperm.
If you are going to be logical however, then you should know that even the guy can't control or tell what chromosome is on the sperm cell that penetrates the female's egg. You also can't control how many kids you have at one time. Neither the gender nor quantity of kids you have during a single pregnancy is a feat of skill on the part of the parents. Does any guy on this base have kids?
If so, answer this poll question:
Did you analyze your sperm cells in a lab under a microscope to see what chromosome it had on it and then have that cell surgically placed into your wife?
Here are the answer choices (this is my first attempt at doing a poll in a thread and I don't know if it will show up once I click submit):
A. Yes
B. No
C. No, but Sasuke should have done so.
D. I don't have kids, but if I did I would make sure to carefully analyze my sperm cells first.
