What would've been great to explore about SasuHina, was the fact that Kishi designed both the Uchiha and Hyuga to represent traditional Japanese families/clan.
Picture it, Fugaku and Hiashi wanting to join their houses by marriage. Itachi being the eldest and the one meant to inherit the role of leader of the Uchiha, would be betrothed to the first born daughter of Hiashi (Hinata). Itachi through his actions would be removed from the line of inheritance (like in canon), Fugaku tries to make a match between Sasuke and Hinata. Sasuke, Fugaku's new heir to lead the Uchiha.
The union of two bloodlines with links to the SOT6P and Kaguya. A powerful political marriage. However, will Sasuke and Hinata find feelings for each other, or will they just do their duty as commanded?
