[Theory] I reckon that shikkotsurin could be the slug sages village

I reckon that shikkotsurin could be the slug sages village, I say this because kabuto mentions about ryuchidou being a legendary place that is equally as famous as myoubokuzan and shikkotsurin which makes me think that it is highly likely that tsunade learnt a slug version of sagemode and it would also mean that all 3 legendary sannin have learnt a version of sagemode that represents their summons. eg: Toad sagemode= jiraiya, Snake sagemode= orochimaru and Slug sagemode= tsunade.

I agree. Since hiruzen knew the most powerful monkey entity I don't think there is a monkey sage. Everyone knows monkey king is the most powerful monkey in Asian mythology.
