I was asking people who would be interested in helping me with a webcomic series. Is there a section where I can posts things like that?

It wasn't taken down. You probably put it in the wrong section. They moved it to the Chatterbox sub-forum and I think posts on there don't come on the Today's topics page. Just because it doesn't appear on Today's topics doesn't mean it's taken down.

Well there's your problem. You created two same threads, obviously one would get deleted. If you read the GD description it says "Discuss here the latest headlines and debate on serious matters." Haha I don't think creating a web comic comes under that. For future reference don't create another thread just because it wasn't popular.
