Think about it... since we learned about the fruit theres been a LOT of kaguya hype... hagoromo hyped her up to be even stronger than himself and even more in this chapter. Now the whole thing with spirits possessing people... basically im hoping madara doesnt get taken over by kaguyas personality or some sht.. madara already has little relevance with the main story kaguya even less. The story doesnt even feel like its about naruto anymore just random characters introduced at the end this ending is becoming quite similar to tengen tonjes ending in which it started off about a boy trying to be the best then suddenly everything is "fated" and his efforts werent his own and spirits for no particular reason waited for these people to be born... i never liked the whole fate thing hardwork and effort was what originally made me like this series..

Spirits are not possessing people. Only chakra is being reincarnated. Madara, Hashirama, Naruto and Sasuke have their own souls.

As in Madara case, indra chakra left him but still Madara's soul is there. That's why he is on the battlefield.
