The manga went downhill after Pain Arc. Everybody who is not an Uchiha or Senju or related to them became irrelevant to the plot. Nobody has trained to become stronger on their own after that point
After the introduction of Susanoo, the uchiha's have forgotten they can use element based moves.
Naruto wants to become like DBZ. But DBZ was always crazy from the beginning. Naruto had been a standard manga so far, now its blown out of proportion.
The war arc has been so terrible...words cant describe how disappointing it was...I only read the manga because I have been following naruto since 2005...
