I personally enjoyed the Hyuga Special.

Admittedly enough, I loved the Hyuga Special that were shown today, considering the fact that they explained a lot of details as to what happened throughout Part 1 and Part 2 with the Clan in secret, my personal favorite was this, where they finally answered a plot hole that has been present for years, ever since Pain's invasion.

"Where the hell were the Hyuga Clan when Pain invaded the village ? All of them were not present!"

This topic has been brought upon a lot which has led to plenty of speculation, it's nice to see it being resolved along with knowing what the Hyuga have been up to, along with Hanabi herself in preparations for The Last.

I'm trying to figure out how Hiashi&co didn't see that huge explosion on the way back. I wonder how long they were gone.

I also think it's kind of funny how they give some credit to Hinata for helping saving Naruto/the village, can't wait for the backlash on that one.

Plot Twist: The Hyuga used their Byakugan and saw Pain coming. Hiashi says, "Let's get the **** out of here. !!"

Yeah, even Hiashi came off as a little bit sympathetic here. Like he wasn't tough on Hinata because she was shy, he was tough because he thought it would eventually help her get over that shyness. He wanted her to improve, but he had a duty and he couldn't let even his own family get in the way of that.

The more I think about it, the more I agree that Hinabi's development was good as well. When she was watching/admiring her sister, she would get stronger and improve. But once she starting becoming a mini-Part1 neji and looking down on her sister, her growth(strength wise and mentally) started to to slow. But once she started seeing how much her sister was growing, it cause for her to grow as well. Hmm, I'm not good at explaining things. It kind of mirrors Hinata's initial relationship with Naruto a bit, which is what I guess they were going for.
