Just a thought, but why does everyone always associate how good of a Kage someone would make just because of how well they fight when 99% of the time the Hokage doesn't even take part in the battles and only really steps foot on the battlefield when the village is in desperate need?

Anyway Kakashi's finally received panel time to show off his skills. So he's actually been shown to be fit for the title of Hokage. He should be Hokage over naruto out of sheer experience alone. After all, once this is all said and done it becomes two wars that Kakashi has played a huge part in on top of a huge number of missions and time in the ANBU while Naruto's only participated in this war and has had far less experience than Kakashi.

At least people don't see Kakashi as a low tier Kage, that statement use to piss me off so much. It was ridiculious how much Kakashi was underrated, he was chosen to be Hokage for a reason. There's nothing low tier about it, you're either Kage or you're not. And the village elders have always picked those who they believe is strong enough to protect the village.

Although I can't deny that Naruto should become Hokage after this as he has worked too hard. I feel Kakashi should continue as his mentor or even take over as head of root. Shikamaru should be Narutos advisor while Sasukra should be his assistant. I dunno if Yamato will survive after this war but Naruto no longer needs him.

He's by no means the strongest character but he's definitely one of the most balanced reliable shinobi there is.

don't take it personnally but the same thing could be said about naruto getting kyuubi powers or any other character for that matters.

Well kakashi doesn't even want it and naruto does. On the other hand, I'm not really sure if naruto is bright enough to be hokage. The life of paperwork will probably be a lot more dissapointing than he thinks.

Everbody here talking about Kakashi for Hokage is missing something really important for Kage title in general. The Three Legendary Sannin all have kage level strength and they fought evenly over 20 years ago with one of the strongest kage to ever live. Kakashi is incredibly powerful but his chakra pool is tiny compared to most other high level ninja. Think of the threats to the Leaf that he would have to defend against. Oro has returned, Sasuke is still out there. I think he could seriously give Oro a run for his money but Oro is a sage and therefore can absorb chakra, he would outlast Kakashi. Lastly, Kakashi vs Sasuke? c'mon really? Sasuke is the 2nd strongest in the series after Naruto. He wouldn't stand a chance vs amaterasu, tsukyiomi, susano'o, izanami, izanagi.
we haven't seen him use Izanagi but he saw Danzo use it so I assume he now knows how to.

I definitely agree that he is much stronger than any other leaf jounin or really any other jounin for that matter but when calling him Kage level? Think of the other ninja already there. Of the current living kage's Kakashi could only handle 2/5. He's a good matchup vs Oonoki and Tsunade, but A would crush him, the Mizukage has too much chakra and is just as smart as him. I'll take that back and say 3/5 there's a good chance he could defeat Gaara.

He's always been smart enough and highly enough reputed, but this really proved that he's strong enough. To a hokage, someone like Zabuza should be fodder, he ended up in the hospital after Zabuza I believe. Now he's on a whole new level.

Dude Zabuza isnt fodder to a kage, if Zabuza versed Mei or Tsunade, 4th Kazekage, and some others, we wouldnt be able to beat them, but it would be atleast mid diff, not comparing him to kages like hashi or muu cuz hed get crushed
