Honestly when it comes to battle smarts they seem to be pretty even now. Sasuke has more general battle skills due to personality and his attacks having to be more technical but Naruto can afford to just rush things with a bunch of rasengan sometimes. When he puts his mind to it though, Naruto can use his existing moveset VERY intelligently.

Do you guys not remember the genius he showed in the Pain fight? Whenever anybody calls him an idiot, i'll show them just what he was mentally capable of in that fight. His brains and preparation took out 4 Pain bodies.

Totally agree. Watch the Deidara fight and see what Sasuke is strategically capable of. He took Deidara out with shuriken and WIRE. Now a susanoo arm can do everything for him.
