Why didn't itachi try to kill sasuke after ka told itachi to protect konoha? At the time sasuke was a treat to konoha. I do understand kabuto was the immediate treat but why not attack afterwords? The only thing I could think of was that itachi knew sasuke would become an ally to konoha.
