My guess is that during the fight between uchihas and senjus....a time came when hashirama tried to convince madara to stop thi swar and that both sides reach a truce....and it was then that izuna told madara not to listen to them...in other words maybe izuna was the one who stopped madara from joining hands with the senju and that just might be the reason that he is hated....
