[Question] I need some help

I want to watch 'A certain magical index' but then I saw there is 'A certain scientific railgun' or something like that also,so I was wondering what am I supposed to watch first?

2. A certain scientific railgun
3. A certain magical index II / A certain scientific railgun S (doesn't matter which one u watch first)

After that, you can read light novels (there are 21 in total after the events that take place in index II).
As a side note, Railgun is a spinoff.

hm, i guess you could watch Index II directly after Index I, tho.
