Silversun Pickups 'Lazy Eye' is good. Band of Horses 'The Funeral' is amazing.
Green Day is fopunk but I'm sure you've heard of them. Modest Mouse is good, more alternative though..
Phantogram 'Mouthful of Daimonds' is pretty good also.
Tycho and Daft Punk are some good techno artists.
I'm sure you've heard of Rise Against, still worth mentioning though.
Paramore is not bad.

I've heard of Green Day and I actually know how to play The Funeral on guitar, haha. I'll check out the other two now.
